Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to purchases of HIBIKI, operated by Hibiki. Payments and refunds are processed by our payment provider, Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record for your purchase.
1. Refund window
You may request a refund within 7 days of the date of purchase. Requests made after 7 days are not eligible for a refund. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable statutory rights you may have as a consumer in your jurisdiction.
2. Page packs
Page packs are one-time purchases of translation pages that never expire. Within the 7-day window we refund only the pages you have not used. Pages already spent on translations are non-refundable, since the product has already been delivered for those pages.
Example: you buy 100 pages and translate 30. Within 7 days you can be refunded the value of the 70 unused pages; the 30 you used are not refundable.
3. Pro subscription
Within the first 7 days of a Pro billing period, your Pro payment is refundable only if you have used 20 pages or fewer in that period. If you have used more than 20 pages, the Pro payment for that period is non-refundable, as you have already made substantial use of the service.
You can cancel Pro at any time to stop future renewals. When you cancel, you keep Pro access until the end of the current billing period; future periods are not charged.
4. Non-refundable cases
- Requests made more than 7 days after purchase.
- Pages already used on translations (page packs).
- Pro periods in which more than 20 pages were used.
- Renewals you were notified of and did not cancel before the renewal date.
5. How to request a refund
Email us at support@hibikitl.com from the address on your account, and include your order or transaction reference. We review eligible requests and, where approved, the refund is issued through Paddle to your original payment method. It may take several business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or card provider.
6. Chargebacks
If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us first — we can usually resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Opening a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of your account.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version.
