Art intact.
Language yours.
Drop a chapter and get it back in English. Hibiki reads the whole chapter for context, finds every bubble, wipes the original lettering, reconstructs the art underneath it, and letters a clean, coherent translation in its place — the page looks like it was always in your language. Watch it work →
A replay of the real three-step pipeline — click a step to watch it again.
The pipeline
Every bubble runs the same pipeline. Click a step — or just watch it cycle.
Every speech bubble and caption is found and read in its original language — even hand-drawn vertical text packed into a corner.
The lettering is removed and the art underneath is rebuilt pixel by pixel. Screentones and linework return as if the text was never there.
A clean, context-aware translation is lettered back into the bubble — fit, sized and styled to read like it was always in your language.
Why HIBIKI
Most tools choke on dense pages, leave smudges where the text was, or quietly skip what they can't handle. Hibiki doesn't.
Finds and translates every speech bubble on every page — dense panels, hand-drawn vertical text packed into a corner. Honorifics and names stay true to the original.
A neural inpainting model reconstructs the art pixel by pixel — screentones, linework, gradients. The page looks like the text was never there.
Hibiki reads the whole chapter before it letters a word, so names, honorifics and tone stay consistent to the last page.
Rewrite names, relationships and tone to taste. Rename a character, swap an honorific, shift the register — the translation bends to your script. Free to use on every plan.
Quick clears most pages on its own. When a stubborn hand-drawn effect or a fleck of residual ink survives, Studio hands you the brush: heal, erase and restore the art by hand, pixel by pixel. Fix any misread line, add a bubble the detector missed, letter sound effects yourself, and set who-says-what — then finalize.
See the difference
Hibiki doesn't drop a translation note over the art and call it done. It reconstructs the page so the only thing that changed is the language you read it in.

Questions
Yes. The detector is trained on a wide range of manga styles — dense action pages, vertical text, small panels. Dialogue and captions are found reliably; the one known limit is heavily stylized hand-drawn sound effects, which may stay in the original rather than risk damaging the art. In Studio you can handle those by hand.
Source: Japanese in Quick mode — Korean and Chinese are supported in Studio (Pro & page packs). Output: all 9 languages — English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Russian, Chinese and Korean — on every plan, free included.
Nothing is stored on our servers — pages are processed in memory and discarded. Your finished pages are kept only in your browser (History holds them for 7 days). We keep a page count for billing — never the images, never the text.
Yes, with Studio (Pro & page packs): it shows every detected bubble with its original text before anything is rendered — fix a misread line, add a bubble the detector missed, delete a false positive, or type exactly what a bubble should say. Then finalize and the page is lettered with your edits.
